Pivot to Play Certification® Level 1
The Pivot to Play Certification® Level 1 provides the foundation on which you will build your business. We will take a look at the current health situation, the current education situation, the current leisure situation and analyze how they lead to a sedentary culture. Once we have examined the current trends, then we will begin our foray into foundational principles of movement and how they connect directly to classroom success from behavior to cognition.
- Level 1 contains 8 Lessons, each with several topics and additional reading, as well as a quiz on the material. Passing each quiz is required in order to progress to the next lesson.
- Lessons 1-6 are the mind-blowing facts that will give you credibility when you advocate for getting children moving as you build your business.
- Lesson 7 is Tips & Tricks where we share what you need to know to get your business started as well as critical tricks for managing the chaos of children in big-body play.
- Lesson 8 includes 2 lesson plans each about 25 minutes in length so you can begin to hone your skills working with kids.
- At the conclusion of Level 1 you will submit an assessment video so we can help you hone your craft
- Then you are off the races in Level 2 and halfway to becoming a Pivot to Play Certified™ Coach!
